About Us

We are a friendly non-profit making society which is run, by unpaid volunteers, for the benefit of all our members. We aim to provide help, advice and competitive products to members.
Formed in around 1931, we hope to improve the quality of allotments, for the benefit of the local community throughout the whole district.

We operate an allotment shop which is open :-
Currently every Sunday 10am-12noon.
Anyone over 18 years of age is eligible to join and new members are always welcome.
Annual membership Adults £3.00 Concessions £2.00 (due 1st January each year)

Seed Potatoes, Onion Sets, Shallots & Garlic Now in Stock

The above items are all now in stock and available for sale. All advance orders should be collected from the hut from Sunday 23rd January 2011 9.30am

On "Saturday 5th February 2011" we are holding a "Potato Day". We have over 20 varieties on offer and a selection of these can be purchased from only £1.00 per bag. Varieties include Kerrs Pink, Pixie, Smile, Harmony & Bonnie in addition to the 2.5kg ones advertised below.

To mark this event we also have a special promotion on Bonemeal Potato Feed at two bags for only £3.00.
