RVCG Event

Thursday 5 November 2015

Chat now, Chit later!

It was absolutely brilliant to see so many members on Sunday! The sun shone on the Hut, and much tea, coffee, cake and chat was shared by some 80 people! Thank you so much to those of you who were able to join us! Many, many thanks, also, to members who baked and brewed, and also many thanks to different individuals who offered to join the volunteer crew. Your names have been noted!!!!! And also many, many thanks to others who have offered to make donations of various items, and also to those who went home and came back with them!!!

Now that we are, once again, open, we want to try to have regular social drop-in get-togethers, and hope to have another such event in the weeks leading up to Christmas. Having said that, we also plan to keep the kettle boiling EVERY weekend, and we will be pleased to see you any Sunday if you need anything, or just fancy a cuppa and a chinwag! We can't promise cake every time, but you might be lucky...! We will be firing up the stove if the weather gets chilly, so you should get a warm welcome.

Sunday also saw record orders taken for 2016 potatoes and onions. It is not yet too late to place your order, but don't leave it too long!

Hope to see you soon!
