The waiting list currently stands at 66. The person to be offered the next available plot has been waiting since March 2010. An approximate waiting time for a plot on this site is 15-18 months.

Autumn Planted Crops to order
Due to terrific demand for Japanese Onions, Garlic, Peas, Beans & Green Manures we have again increased the size of our order. Should you still wish to order please e-mail back with your requirements and pay at the hut within the next couple of weeks to secure.

Autumn Planted Onions, Garlic, Peas, Broad Beans & Green Manures
We are now taking orders for the following:-
Senshyu Japanese Onion Sets 500g (80-100 bulbs)£1.30
The original "Japanese overwintering Onion". Semi-flat and yellow with brown skin which mature late June.
Radar Japanese Onion Sets 500g (80-100 bulbs)£1.50
Top performing, popular, overwintering variety. Producing excellent yields of mild tasting onions from late May. Particularly resistant to bolting and stores well until Autumn.
Electric Onion Sets 500g (80-100 bulbs)£1.70 *New for 2011*
These sets have a shiny, red skinned, semi-globe shape with pink tinged crisp flesh. Ideal for salads and stir fries. July harvest. Red.
Thermidrome Autumn Planting Garlic 125g (typically 2 Large bulbs)£1.50
Commercially grown variety with soft neck producing large bulbs of good flavour.
Feltham First peas 250g £1.40 *New for 2011*
A round-seeded dwarf variety for Autumn sowing. Good cold tolerance.
Aquadulce Broad Bean 250g £1.40 *New for 2011*
The standard overwintering variety. Good cold tolerance producing compact plants with high yields.

Thankyou to everyone who took part in our fundraising raffle. Congratulations to our lucky winner Sue Lindley who receives £100.00 of quality Spear and Jackson gardening tools.

Plant Sales - Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th May 2011 from 9.30am till 2.30pm
Many thanks to all those who supported us by bringing and buying plants at our recent plant sale, the response was fantastic and these made a significant contribution towards our fundraising efforts.
If anyone could help donate any further surplus plants these would be greatly appreciated.
Our next plant sales are on Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th May 2011 from 9.30am till 2.30pm. In response to members' requests, we will have a large supply of bedding plants for sale. These include pansies, busy lizzies, petunias, double petunias, mixed geraniums, antirrihnums, gazanias and lobelias amongst others. In addition, there will also be hanging baskets in various sizes to purchase. Of course, you can also expect a large variety of vegetable, herb and fruit plants.
We will again offer refreshments of tea, coffee, soft drinks and cake.
